Sono attualmente project manager presso il Segretariato del Global Forum on Agricultural Research and Innovation (GFAR) e collaboro con il Segretariato della Global Open Data for Agriculture and Nutrition initiative (GODAN). Ho rappresentato FAO e GFAR in progetti su infrastrutture dati finanziati dalla Commissione Europea (agINFRABig Data Europe) e gestisco le piattaform open data CIARD RINGAgriProfiles e Agrisemantics Map in coordinazione con partner globali e regionali.

The ethical, legal and policy aspects related to farmers’ accessing and using available data, as well as sharing their own data, are now seen as key to empowering farmers through regulations, agreements and an enabling legal and policy environment.   This is why GFAR, GODAN, CTA and KTBL started a consultation process on ethical, legal and policy aspects of open data affecting farmers.
